I had a wonderful experience with the Hamburg Greeter program. My greeter, Elsbeth, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous with her time. As a first-time visitor to Hamburg, I truly appreciated the opportunity to explore the city through the eyes of a local rather than following a typical tourist itinerary.
She shared fascinating stories about Hamburg’s history, culture, and everyday life, while showing me beautiful neighborhoods and hidden gems that I would never have discovered on my own. Our conversations were engaging, and she made me feel very comfortable throughout the tour.
This experience gave me a much deeper appreciation for Hamburg and its people. I am very grateful for Elsbeth’s hospitality and enthusiasm, and I would highly recommend the Hamburg Greeter program to anyone visiting the city. It was one of the highlights of my trip.
