Just wanted to say a big thank you to Gordon especially going ahead with the meet considering how bad the weather was.
The meet was amazing, without the greeters knowledge time and kindness and old photos it would not have been possible. It really opened our eyes up about the city, how things happened over the years and historical facts that is usually not shared, having someone help show you around and pointing out buildings etc made a trip more worthwhile ( no wonder my Godmother left when she was 19 )
I would highly recommend the greeters service and the team as they go above and beyond to make visitors feel welcome
