On 6 June, we were lucky enough to spend some fantastic, wonderful hours with our Greeter Romuald in Hamburg. Already the first contact by phone showed that the chemistry was right and we were provided with numerous tips for our arrival. Our greet began with the bike. Romuald showed us parts of the city centre, such as the Kontorhausviertel, but Hafen-City was also worth seeing. Romuald showed us places in Hamburg that we would never have found or even recognised as worth seeing. A boat trip to Finkenwerder and Teufelsbrück was also part of the programme and very interesting. From Teufelsbrück we cycled along the Elbe, past the captain’s houses, and ended up at the Schellfischposten in the evening. We finished off the evening with a well-deserved after-work beer. As I said, it was a wonderful time that we won’t forget in a hurry – we’ve already told you about it many times at home. Kind regards from Moers, Karsten and Claudia
