Visiting with an old friend who loves their city

We had an absolutely incredible experience in Hamburg that far surpassed expectations! It was like visiting with an old friend who loves their city. We had fantastic conversations about Hamburg, Finland, other countries we’ve lived in and visited, and finished our day knowing far more and being far richer for meeting Rainer. Our daughter can be a bit tricky to win over, but Rainer knew just what to say and show her, and responded to her needs – he even knew of a fantastic playground just around the corner just at the moment when she asked. I wish we could have given him more than curryworst but hopefully we can ‘Greet’ him in Helsinki one day. We had never heard of ‘Greeters’ before and did not really know exactly what to expect, but from now on we will recommend to everyone! THIS is what travel should be all about 🙂
