We were met by Michael at our hotel where he started by giving us an introduction and overview of Hamburg before starting the actual tour of Speicherstadt and Hafencity. The tour was about three hours but we could easily have spent more time together! Michael is extremely knowledgable and also a bit of a historian, as well as very passionate and enthusiastic about architecture as well as a good story teller. Not a dull moment!
