Fantastic stroll with Andrej!! We didn’t realize that Easter Monday was a holiday in Germany with most shops being closed. We were so fortunate to have Andrej as our guide. He made breakfast reservations for us on a restaurant boat and we got to experience an authentic German breakfast while we got to know each other. It was a rainy day and he was so thoughtful, he brought umbrellas for us, which really came in handy. He then showed us the tunnel under the river, the amazing symphony hall building, the observation tower where we got to see panoramic views of Hamburg, where he shared many interesting facts about the city, and then the old warehouse district. He even introduced us to some delicious German pastry. Then he made sure that we got to our next activity on time and showed us where we would need to go after that. We spent a memorable morning together and by the end, we had made a wonderful new friend.
