It was a wonderful 3+ hours with Hildegund. She met us promptly before the Rathaus and took us for a leisurely walk in the city. She is very knowledgeable about the city and had fun anecdotes along the way. It was just the right pace for us. The highlight for me was the elevator to the tunnel. Hildegund started at the Rathaus, showed us the main churches, strolled over to the warehouse district (Hafencity), viewed the city from the Elbphilharmonie, walked along the water and walked the underwater tunnel and back. Oh and we stopped for a coffee in a quaint cafe along the way.
She was a very gracious lady and always checked with us to see how we are doing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her.
