My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Michael. Our greet included stops at Inner Alster Lake, the Hanseviertel, St.Nikolai Museum, Chilehaus, the Speicherstadt, and more. Michael is a retired architect, and he shared information about buildings and structures throughout our walk. He also discussed Hamburg’s history, Germany reunification after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and growing up in post-WW II Germany. He was a fascinating and informative host.
