As summer holidays we made a roadtrip and the last city on our tour was Hamburg. In preparation of the visit by coincidence I found the Greeter website. I never heard of this initiative before. I gave it a try to ask for a greet and we were lucky to be selected. Gordon, a Englishman living in Hamburg for several years, was our greeter. Friday August 12 2022 we met at the Rathaus. This was the start of a tour of 3 hours which I describe as interesting, custom made (for our family), interactive and last but not least also pleasant.<br \/>\nIt was our first greeter experience and we really enjoyed it and we can really recommend it.<br \/>\nWe ended the greet with a chat and a german beer enjoying the view on the Binnenalster.
