Our Greeter Joachim had checked our interests in advance and was punctually at the meeting point. With verve and good humor we went through the Old and New Town – through Deichstra\u00dfe and Komponistenquartier (“Composers’ Quarter”). There were always anecdotes and experiences from his personal Hamburg history as well as facts and information about tourist destinations. With patience and empathy he made this greet a great introduction to the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Through our own prior knowledge of the city and its history, a lively exchange took place and the greet became an absolutely enriching experience in arriving and exploring our new home Hamburg. Joachim gave us a lot of time and attention, for this again a very big thank you. And also to all the Greeter Hamburg, who make this possible with their orga and platform!<\/p>\n
