Green Hamburg offers lots of nature
Hamburg is green: with the two large city parks, the Ohlsdorf cemetery, the Alstervorland and the Wallanlagen in the city center, Hamburg has lots of nature and offers many opportunities to move around the city on a free tour with a Greeter, even as a pedestrian and cyclist.

Ohlsdorf Cemetery
As the largest park cemetery in the world, Ohlsdorf Cemetery is one of the green lungs of the city of Hamburg. In 2020, it was closed to through traffic.

The Elbe Riverbank Hiking Trail runs more than 23 kilometers, between St. Pauli’s Fish Market and Schulauer Fährhaus in Wedel.
